- I don't know about PPP, but my Slip connection will quite happily survive me
- reseting my 1200.
- Often I have had the 1200 crash, reset, reload, all the while the modem remain
- connected, all I need to do is "startnet" and I am away online again. :)

- Having said that though, I have yet to find a script which will "stopnet,
- _and_ hang up the modem" which works... I have found many scripts which claim
- to hang up the modem on exit, but which do not. I'd rather have something to
- hang up the modem than something that keeps the modem online forever.
